Enterprise Activation for Your BlackBerry Device
IMPORTANT - Before you attempt to activate your BlackBerry, make sure:
1. You have signed up for the BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) data plan with your wireless carrier. The BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) data plan will NOT synchronize with your MessageDisk account.
2. Your MessageDisk email address is active and email is being delivered to your MessageDisk account from the Internet

Use these instructions are for activating BlackBerry 4.x devices. Make sure you are receiving a strong wireless signal before you begin.
- On your BlackBerry handheld device, from the main menu select: Settings -> Options -> Advanced Options -> Enterprise Activation
- Enter your primary email address (e.g. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address))
- Enter the password from your MessageDisk BlackBerry Enterprise activation e-mail
- Select Activate from the menu
NOTE: Your activation password expires after 48 hours. If you are unable to activate your device within this timeframe, please email MessageDisk support for a new activation password.
IMPORTANT: In order for the activation to be successful, make sure you are receiving a strong wireless signal. The activation process may take as long as 30 minutes.
There is no need to install any software on your device as all synchronization is done wirelessly.
If the activation fails to synchronize your handheld to your Exchange mailbox, please contact MessageDisk support.
